“For I was hungry, and you gave me food” -Matthew 25:35

RIPLEY COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY

Food Distribution: 1st, 2nd & 4th Wednesday Each Month

The Ripley Community Food Pantry was founded by the late Pastor Robert “Chuck” Owen Reeves, who believed deeply in the mission of supporting struggling communities through food assistance. His vision lives on through this vital outreach effort.

WHEN

Open every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, except the third Wednesday of each month.

Note: On the third Wednesday each month, we assist the Catholic Charities at RULH High School.

WHERE

Former Ripley Memorial Masonic

211 North Second Street, Ripley, OH 45167
(Enter through the Church of the Nazarene parking lot)

WHO

The pantry is open to anyone in Brown County, Ohio who needs food assistance. We follow federal income guidelines and ask for a photo ID at the time of pickup. No other documentation or verification is required.

HOW IT WORKS

Follow signs to enter through the Ripley Church of the Nazarene parking lot on North Second Street.

Remain in your vehicle. Volunteers will:

  • Help you register
  • Load food into your trunk
  • Direct you to the exit

THANK YOU

Thanks to the generosity of many:

  • The Ripley Masonic Lodge offered its historic building when the lodge closed.
  • The Free Store Food Bank of Cincinnati regularly provides food supplies.
  • A Kentucky-based paper company donated hundreds of boxes for food distribution.
  • Various Ripley church members, local citizens, and organizations such as the Lions Club are actively involved in supporting the pantry through donations, volunteers, and outreach.

We now regularly serve over 100 families each week—and that number continues to grow.
