"God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share." - 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT)

FOOD PANTRY FOR ALL

Food Distribution: 3rd Wednesday Each Month

Centenary Methodist Church is a proud partner of the Catholic Charities' Food for All program which helps combat hunger in underserved areas known as food deserts.

Food deserts are communities — often in rural towns or urban neighborhoods — where access to fresh, healthy, and affordable food is limited or nonexistent. Instead of supermarkets, these areas are frequently served only by fast food chains or convenience stores, offering few nutritious options. This lack of access contributes to poor diets and increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

According to the USDA, over 23 million Americans live in food deserts, with more than half considered low-income. Right here in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, more than 400,000 people live in poverty.

To meet this critical need, Catholic Charities brings truckloads of healthy food each month to rural communities without established food pantries — reaching families who might otherwise go without. Through partnerships like ours, Food for All currently serves Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, and Highland Counties, delivering hope along with nourishment.
